Return Transportation

If an H-1B employee is dismissed before the end of their authorized period of H-1B employment (with or without cause), then the department will be responsible for paying the reasonable cost of return transportation to the employee's home country. This would be an economy class ticket for the employee only. This provision does not include the cost of return transportation for dependents or household goods. If an employee resigns prior to the end of their authorized period of H-1B employment, the department need not cover this cost.
